Calvert Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our close-knit team in Owings MD! Were a smaller high-volume practice that takes pride in providing personalized care while maintaining a strong focus on work-life balance. About the Practice
Our hospital sees approximately 1520 patients per doctor each day and has a diverse caseload consisting of 95% small animal and 5% exotic patients. We have three exam rooms two surgical suites a dedicated treatment area and a paperless workflow. Appointment lengths typically range from 1530 minutes and may vary based on each doctors discretion comfort level and the needs of the patient.
Our current equipment includes:
- Digital radiography and dental radiography
- Ultrasound
- Therapy laser
- Cautery pens
Were also giving the hospital a fresh facelift with updates underway to the flooring paint X-ray room cabinetry and front desk.
About the Team:
Our team is truly family-oriented and we believe work-life balance matters. On stressful days you may find us grabbing lunch or heading out to dinner together after work. Youll have a 2:1 doctor-to-technician/assistant ratio one CVT and three additional assistants currently attending tech school.
We also enjoy giving our doctors opportunities to explore their interests. One of our current veterinarians performs fish and pond visits and were open to supporting unique areas of interest.
