Job Summary
Transmission Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair transmission systems on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on transmissions
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety procedures
- Document repair procedures and communicate findings to service advisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Transmission Technician or similar role
- GM experience is a plus
- ASE Certification is a plus
- Strong knowledge of transmission systems and automotive repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
