Job Summary
The Table Games Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an assigned table games area ensuring exceptional guest service regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. This role provides leadership coaching and performance management for Dealers while maintaining the integrity of gaming operations and promoting a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
Supervises and oversees the performance of all Dealers within the assigned area.
Maintains bank floats and controls game movement to optimize table utilization and guest play.
Trains coaches and supervises Dealers to ensure compliance with casino policies procedures rules and gaming regulations.
Collaborates with other gaming areas to track and document players who reach tax-reporting thresholds and ensures all player information is accurately entered into the system.
Verifies the issuance of credit after confirming all required approvals and signatures.
Monitors significant play activity and key players communicating pertinent information to management as appropriate.
Resolves minor guest disputes professionally and promptly or exercises judgment to involve the Surveillance team when necessary.
Attends supervisory meetings as required by property and corporate management.
Effectively manages assigned areas with minimal supervision from upper management.
Exercises independent judgment in the best interest of Caesars when recommending hiring transfers performance evaluations promotions disciplinary actions rewards or terminations.
Conducts timely performance evaluations in accordance with company policies and procedures. Provides ongoing feedback coaching and development opportunities while clearly communicating expectations and maintaining a consistent approachable leadership style.
Ensures team members understand and are held accountable for their individual performance expectations and responsibilities.
Communicates respectfully and professionally with guests and team members at all times.
Serves as a role model by consistently demonstrating professionalism and representing Caesars in a positive manner while encouraging others to do the same.
Maintains attendance standards and complies with all regulatory departmental and company policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Must have gaming knowledge including experience dealing and supervising at least two table games and a thorough understanding of casino rules regulations procedures and pit operations.
Must possess strong leadership communication organizational and customer service skills.
Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Must be able to work effectively with co-workers and as part of a team.
Must be willing and able to work any shift including weekends and holidays.
Must maintain a professional well-groomed appearance consistent with Caesars standards.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work indoors and continuously maneuver throughout the casino and assigned Pit area during the entire shift with regularly scheduled breaks.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods including increments of 2 to 3 hours at a time.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical activities such as bending reaching kneeling twisting and gripping.
- Must be able to remain calm make sound decisions and effectively respond to multiple guest demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately when determining winning and losing wagers and processing payouts.
- Must be able to respond appropriately to visual and auditory cues and memorize game rules and procedures.
- Must possess excellent vision including peripheral vision to protect the integrity of the games.
- Must be able to read verify complete and sign documents related to gaming operations.
- Must be able to work in an environment that may include secondhand smoke elevated noise levels bright lighting and dust.
- Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-volume environment.
