Mooresville Magnera is hiring experienced Slitter Operators for day and night shifts!
Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate slitter equipment to cut product to required width and diameter
  • Follow all safety procedures and company operating standards
  • Review work orders and verify machine settings recipes and knife alignment
  • Perform startup visual and audio checks to ensure efficient operation
  • Monitor quality conduct inspections and address quality or equipment issues
  • Troubleshoot slitter and kniferelated problems as needed
  • Communicate effectively with line operators lab and production leadership
  • Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Demonstrate knowledge/experience operating a Slitter
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
  • Strong attention to safety quality and detail
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts including overtime as needed
  • Ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willingness to complete required training certifications and safety programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing production or warehouse environment
  • Forklift experience or willingness to become forkliftcertified (companypaid training provided)
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience working with industrial equipment
  • Basic computer skills for data entry or production tracking
  • Experience working in a teambased environment
