As Shift Supervisor you will be performing a variety of functions for your assigned shift. You will be providing direction to the on-duty Security Officers of their job requirements priorities of work and coordinating any necessary needs of the site.

What You Can Expect:

• A Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all post orders are followed established rounds are completed and needed reports are filed.
• Notifies proper authorities clients and Securitas management in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from Securitas management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers with functions of their positions reviews site post orders and other details of their position.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions while on duty.
• Prepares files and submits various reports as needed.
• Inspects posts and meets with on duty Security Officers to ensure tasks and responsibilities are being completed.
• Following applicable company policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws performs supervisory duties that can include training employees assigning tasks during shift directing work coaching addressing issues and resolving problems.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer in accord with post orders and company policy.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma GED OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Companys pre-employment screening process including drug screen and background investigation.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Security.
• Must be dependable.
• Must have the ability to motivate and inspire.
• Must have the ability to train officers and ensure all policies are adhered to.
• Must have the ability to meet deadlines.
• Must have above average communication skills.
• Drivers License needed.
• PERC Card needed.
• Must be flexible with schedule when necessary.
