WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Set up operate and monitor multi-axis laser machines used for cutting drilling marking or trimming sheet metal components and finished goods
• Read and interpret engineering sketches job routers and process control sheets to ensure accurate part processing
• Inspect parts using micrometers calipers indicators height gauges CMM reports and visual inspection
• Adjust machine parameters align optics load programs and verify proper beam quality
• Perform basic troubleshooting on lasers motion systems and fixturing
• Maintain accurate production records and follow strict aerospace quality standards (AS9100 NADCAP)
• Work closely with engineering quality and production teams to solve problems and support continuous improvement
• Follow all laser safety and general manufacturing safety procedures
• Maintain machine performance through routine cleaning and preventative maintenance
• Work as part of a collaborative team to build quality products that youre proud to put your name on

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Experience with laser systems (Fiber Yag CO2) or a CNC background with a willingness to learn (on-the-job training provided)
• Comfort working with CNC-type interfaces G-code or automated motion platforms
• Ability to interpret sketches follow work instructions and meet tight tolerances
• Strong attention to detail pride in craftsmanship and a safety-first mindset
