Successful candidates for this role will lead the development and maintenance of hardware and software-based product security solutions for the protection of critical military information and technology. The Product Security Anti-Tamper Team in Oklahoma City Oklahoma is growing and currently seeking a Experienced / Mid-Career Software Security Engineer in the field of Anti-Tamper. This position will support the Mobility Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) division business organization.

Our team is developing industry-leading software hardware and systems solutions. This position includes the opportunity to integrate new architectures and key security and control features using Boeing-designed hardware and other COTS hardware/software.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development of documents and maintains architectures requirements algorithms interfaces and designs for software systems
  • Support and be accountable to program engineering leads in day-to-day task activities accomplishments issues and concerns.
  • Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication inter-personal and problem solving skills as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite

Travel may be required up to 10% of the time

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • 2 years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C Ada and/or Java
  • Ability to develop code for usability readability and maintainability.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • 4 years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C Ada and/or Java
  • 1 years of experience with lifecycle Configuration management (CM) tools experience (GitLab)
  • 1 years of experience utilizing Agile tools (Jira)
  • Experience in technical leadership with collaboration across multiple teams and locations in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in a DevSecOps environment
  • Experience with cryptography and other security protocols
  • Working knowledge in the field of cyber security secure computing and/or anti-tamper
