Experienced Landscaper | Spray Tech

MR Tree Division is looking for an experienced landscaper with knowledge of plants who is interested in learning and growing into a Plant Health Care (PHC) / Spray Technician role.

We are willing to train the right candidate in plant health care pest and disease identification fertilization and safe chemical application. The ideal candidate will have landscaping experience a strong work ethic attention to detail and an interest in developing technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform plant health care and landscape maintenance services
• Learn to identify common plant diseases pests and nutritional issues
• Apply treatments fertilizers and other products safely and according to company guidelines
• Inspect trees shrubs and landscapes for signs of pest or disease problems
• Use an iPad and company software to create estimates document job details and communicate with customers
• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites
• Maintain equipment supplies and a clean professional work environment
• Provide excellent customer service and represent MR Tree Division professionally
• Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping or plant-care experience required
• Basic knowledge of plants trees shrubs pests or plant diseases preferred
• Willingness to learn and become a PHC/Spray Technician
• Comfortable using an iPad smartphone and other technology
• Ability to create estimates and enter job information electronically
• Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift carry and perform physical work as needed
