The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced Estimating and Pricing Specialist to support Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) in North Charleston SC.
This exciting opportunity involves joining the BCA Factory Estimating team to oversee the development of high-value estimates encompassing highly complex or unique technical requirements throughout the design build support and growth stages of the program. The role also entails overseeing business case development analyzing Return on Investment (ROI) performing risk and opportunity analysis developing check fixtures analytics and helping inform strategic program decisions.

Position Responsibilities:
Coordinates and develop highly complex estimates and business cases
Leads and develop data driven and well documented basis of estimates estimating models and check fixtures
Leads and support Program planning directive and future rate studies
Performs estimates and analyses and presents recommendations to the business
Partners with program Financial Planning and other finance organizations to ensure that budgets and Estimates and Completion are accurately reflected
Identifies opportunities to simplify and improve estimating tools processes and methodologies
Consults and oversee the evaluation and development of innovative business cases
Coordinates and collects data for estimates analyses analytics and seeks to identify new sources of data
Leads the development application maintenance of rates and factors for estimating pricing and proposals
Supports compliance efforts policy and procedure development training new systems tool development and internal audits
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
3 years of experience working in a cross-functional environment including engineering manufacturing/operations quality product support finance business development and program management
3 years of experience with Microsoft Excel application using: formulas VLookups pivot tables charts filters and linking worksheets
Experience with developing cost estimates for multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience developing business cases and performing risk analysis
Experience developing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) planning organizing implementing and monitoring of requirements management processes tools risk issues opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes
