We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated engineer who enjoys solving challenging problems working on a variety of projects and partnering directly with clients to design and implement practical solutions.

What Youll Do
As an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer you will lead and support electrical and control system projects from concept through implementation. Your typical week will be spent supporting a variety of projects by:

• Developing electrical and control system designs for industrial facilities
• Designing and reviewing control enclosures power distribution systems network architecture and field installations
• Selecting field instrumentation and developing associated wiring and installation requirements
• Reading modifying and troubleshootingPLC and HMI applications as required during project execution and testing
• Developing and executingverification and test plans for internal and field testing activities.
• Producingand reviewing engineering deliverables including calculations drawings specifications and project documentation
• Ensuringdesigns comply with applicable industry codes standards and client requirements
• Evaluatingcode requirements and applyingengineering judgment to achieve compliant and practical solutions
• Participatingin client meetings site visits startup activities and field support efforts.
• Supporting proposal development and assistingwith business development activities as needed
• Representing aeSolutions professionally while working with clients vendors and project teams

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 7 years of relevant electrical engineering and industrial controls experience
• Experience with low-voltage power distribution design
• Experience with field instrument selection application and wiring design
• Ability to review interpret and apply applicable industry codes and standards including NFPA requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
• 7-12 years of experience in industrial automation controls instrumentation or electrical system design.
• Experience with critical systems such as:
  • Boiler systems
  • Burner management systems
  • Fire and gas systems
• Experience supporting industrial manufacturing facilities.
• Experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering efforts.
• Experience conducting field investigations startup support or commissioning activities.

• Low-voltage power distribution design
• Instrumentation selection and field wiring design
• Reviewing interpreting and applying engineering codes and standards to achieve compliant solutions
• Successful candidates are comfortable working across a variety of projects and adapting quickly as priorities change. They enjoy balancing office-based engineering work with client interaction and occasional field activities.

• Up to 35% travel (valid drivers license required)
• Occasional work in manufacturing industrial and construction environments
• Site visits may involve exposure to varying environmentalconditions
• Most client travel is concentrated within the Southeastern United States with occasional travel outside the region
