Location: Wayne PA. We prefer candidates who are local or able to relocate with hybrid flexibility available for the right candidate. Because this is primarily a litigation practice attorneys handling court appearances and active litigation will need regular local availability. Fully remote arrangements may be considered for candidates focused primarily on high-level research writing file preparation equitable distribution or transactional work. Relocation assistance may be available.

Note: Candidates must be active members in good standing of the Pennsylvania Bar and have at least 2 years of attorney experience specifically handling divorce and family law matters.

Job Description

• Manage an active caseload involving divorce equitable distribution custody support adoption and related family law matters.
• Counsel clients with professionalism empathy and clear strategic guidance throughout their cases.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery agreements correspondence and other legal documents.
• Research Pennsylvania family law local rules and relevant case law.
• Represent clients at conferences hearings negotiations and trials.
• Manage discovery timelines prepare responses and keep matters moving efficiently toward resolution.
• Communicate promptly with clients and provide consistent updates regarding case strategy and developments.
• Maintain organized case files deadlines and billable-hour expectations.
• Participate in CLEs Bar Association activities professional conferences and other opportunities to strengthen your practice.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing.
• 2 years of divorce and family law attorney experience.
• Experience drafting pleadings handling discovery and representing clients in family law proceedings.
• Strong legal writing research analytical interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and competing deadlines independently.
• High level of professionalism discretion and ethical judgment.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Word Outlook Excel and standard legal technology.
