Job Summary:
The Body Shop Technician is responsible for performing high-quality repairs on commercial trucks including collision repair bodywork and paint application. This role requires attention to detail efficiency and a commitment to maintaining industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform body repairs on commercial trucks
- Complete dent repair panel replacement and light fabrication
- Prepare surfaces for paint including sanding masking and priming
- Apply paint and finishes to manufacturer and company standards
- Perform frame and structural repairs (preferred)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Qualifications:
- Previous body shop or collision repair experience required
- Experience working with commercial trucks preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Valid drivers license preferred
