The Expeditor II is responsible for expediting and ensuring the continuous supply of materials to production to meet the output quality on-time delivery safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines work protocols and corporate policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with internal customers to coordinate and Drive Deliveries to meet the production schedule in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of production schedules and production process/sequence.
- Able to identify delays to the delivery schedule or production impacts and communicate needs to action owners.
- Arranges the disposition of jobs to meet production schedules.
- Compiles and reviews production schedules reports and status/location to approach jobs in various stages of WIP.
- Able to demonstrate to the customer their understanding through words and drawings.
- Be able to work with senior management to create and compile day-to-day job-specific information using detailed drawings customer-supplied specifications and customer interaction.
- Reports any issues with equipment tooling resources or anything that can affect production flow.
- Experienced in product organizing integration and control with respect to production delivery schedules.

- Strong knowledge of equipment operation workflow and tools.

Educational/Certification Requirement:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirement:
Work Experience:
- 2-3 years related experience preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- At least a year of purchasing or planning experience.
Work Environment:
