Exhaust Operator 2nd Shift

Job Title: Exhaust Operator

Job Location: Williamsport PA

Under minimal supervision and in accordance with written and oral instructions performs operations required to; prepare and chemically clean/plate components load and operate furnaces in order to perform brazing operations load and operate exhaust stations to evacuate (vacuum exhaust) tubes. Standard procedures are established and work is semi-routine in nature

• Prepare and install tubes for exhaust cycle.
• Monitor/control temperature and pressure to meet specifications of various tubes.
• Troubleshoot potential vacuum leaks on tubes and/or exhaust stations.
• Record / maintain data sheets as required by procedure.
• Maintain work area in clean / orderly manner.
• Maintain barcode accuracy at 100%
• Initiate clear pass down instructions for next shift.
• Grit / Bead blast exhausted tubes and components as specified.
• Inspect/PM equipment as specified.

• Associates in Electronics or equivalent preferred but not required
• Able to perform mathematical calculations.
• Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
• Good organizational skills and able to give and follow oral and written instructions.
• Trainable on programmable DCPs.
• Able to read mechanical drawings / blueprints.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear personal protective equipment.
