Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and results-drivenExecutive Risk Account Executiveto manage and grow client relationships while providing expert risk management solutions. This role involves delivering tailored solutions retaining and expanding accounts and serving as a key advisor to clients. The ideal candidate will have strong account management expertise exceptional communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
- Build maintain and strengthen lasting client relationships as the primary point of contact for all risk management and account-related matters.
- Develop and deliver executive risk solutions tailored to client needs with a focus on both retention and growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams including underwriters actuaries and claims specialists to ensure timely effective resolutions to client concerns.
- Conduct regular reviews of client accounts to identify opportunities for optimized coverage and improved satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends to provide informed recommendations on risk management strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through prospecting and upselling additional services.
- Ensure client interactions adhere to company policies regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations and reports for client meetings and stakeholder engagements.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by keeping them informed of regulatory changes market conditions and relevant risk management products.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior account executives to contribute to a learning-focused organizational culture.
- Bachelors degree in business finance risk management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as an Account Executive ideally in the risk management insurance or financial services sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of executive risk products including Directors & Officers (D&O) liability Employment Practices Liability and Fiduciary Liability insurance.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and navigate complex conversations with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to assess client needs and recommend customized solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue goals and deliver exceptional client satisfaction.
- Organized and detail-oriented adept at managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events.
- Professional designations such as CPCU CRM ARM or CIC.
- Experience working with high-profile or C-suite clients.
- Familiarity with emerging risks including cyber liability or ESG (Environmental Social and Corporate Governance) factors.
