Job Summary
- Ensures executives and VIPs safety at all times in various location sites and situations.
- Researches assesses and assists with reports and advisories on security risks.
- Ability to work independently and to adapt to various work-paces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness and energy.
- Demonstrated exceptional results in a client-service role which includes but is not limited to; greeting all guests in a professional and friendly manner accommodating executives needs and carrying luggage.
- Determines directions to the desired destination(s) and adheres to the state driving rules and regulations at all times.
- Performs regular checks to make sure the vehicles are in proper working condition.
- Reports and escalates any incidents directly to the Director Operations - Security.
- Works as required/when necessary including on varying shifts days nights weekends and holidays as needed to fulfill the responsibilities outlined above.
- Maintain a professional appearance. Impeccable grooming and appearanceare important. Conservative attire with neutral colors limited jewelry with appropriate hairstyle and groomed facial hair.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Associates Degree in Law Enforcement or Military Service required.
- Must possess a valid drivers license.
- Prior certification as a Local State or Federal Law Enforcement Officer with current LEOSA(The Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) is a United States federal law enacted in 2004 that allows two classes of persons - the qualified Law Enforcement officer and the qualified retired or separated Law Enforcement officer - to carry a concealed firearm in any jurisdiction in the United States)and/or IROCC (Illinois Retired Officer Concealed Carry lawenforcementprogram)
- Previous experience in protective intelligence or physical security required previous experience chauffeuring executives preferred.
- Must be able to read and write English fluently and maintain a professional communication style.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
- Certifications in first-aid and CPR/AED or the ability to obtain these certifications required.
- Must be able to physically carry out the job responsibilities listed above. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds be able to sit or stand for lengthy periods of time and work in various temperatures and weather conditions.
- Ability to acquire and maintain a Passport for international travel as needed.
- This role will operate out of the Chicago IL office.
