Job Summary

Razor is seeking an experienced Executive IT Support Specialist to provide executive-level IT communications service desk and VTC support for U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) operations in Colorado Springs CO. This position supports priority customers including senior leadership and General/Flag Officer (GOFO) personnel and requires a high level of responsiveness technical proficiency professionalism and customer service.

The Executive Communications Administrator will support mission computer hardware software networks mobile devices and communications systems while providing technical support during routine operations and Tier 1 National Level Exercises.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Cybersecurity Data Science Information Systems Computer Science or a related field from an ABET-accredited or CAE-designated institution.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must currently hold an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

Location & Work Arrangement:

  • Colorado Springs Colorado
  • Onsite support is required.
  • Minimal on-call support outside of core hours may be required to support GOFO residences at Peterson Space Force Base.
  • Less than 10% travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive communications support to identified Priority 13 customers within HQ USSPACECOM and GOFO housing.
  • Provide service desk and help desk support in accordance with program requirements.
  • Provide IT Service Desk and VTC support during increased operations associated with Tier 1 National Level Exercises.
  • Complete account requests for exercise augmentee personnel prior to NLE STARTEx and revoke access following NLE EndEx.
  • Respond to designated government personnel within established support timelines during and outside core business hours.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT and communications issues involving mission computer hardware software and LAN environments.
  • Support desktops mobile devices cellular phones tablets MiFis printers and related end-user technologies.
  • Coordinate with host bases and service providers to submit and resolve communications and IT requests.
  • Perform trend analysis on fielded equipment and systems to identify adverse performance and recurring technical issues.
  • Provide VTC and communications support for mission and executive users.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and responsiveness when supporting senior government leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Experience providing Tier 14 service desk and job-control functions.
  • NIPRNet the DoD unclassified network. This would cover much of the normal workstation account LAN email and general IT support.
  • SIPRNet the DoD classified Secret-level network. Given the USSPACECOM mission environment exercise support account provisioning and executive communications supporting SIPR systems
  • Experience troubleshooting and configuring military or government IT devices including desktops mobile devices cellular phones tablets MiFis and printers.
  • Experience coordinating with host bases and service providers on communications and IT requests.
  • Experience performing trend analysis on fielded equipment and systems to identify performance issues.
  • Ability to meet applicable Core and Additional Knowledge Skills and Abilities Tasks (KSATs) defined by the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework for Work Role 451 (NIST OV-SA-001).
  • Ability to provide responsive technical support within established service requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to support high-priority and executive-level government customers.

Certification Requirements:

  • CompTIA Security required.
  • Cloud GICSP GSEC or SSCP preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to periodically twist bend and squat.
