Department Summary The Simulation Center under the Office of the Provost is committed to advancing academic excellence through innovative simulation-based education interprofessional collaboration and experiential learning at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. The Center includes a staff of 10 supporting simulation programming and activities across multiple simulation facilities at UNT Health and soon-to-launch in UNT Dallas campus. The Simulation Center supports UNT Health academic colleges and institutional initiatives across the UNT System through high-quality simulation experiences that promote educational excellence collaboration and continuous improvement. |
Position Overview The Executive Director of Simulation Education provides enterpriselevel leadership for simulationbased education across UNT Health ensuring strategic alignment with the institutions academic mission accreditation requirements and national best practices. This position sets vision governance and oversight for simulation education ensuring consistent compliant and scalable use of simulation resources across programs advancing innovation workforce development and strategic partnerships. |
