The Executive Assistant Public Health provides advanced administrative support for the Executive Director of Public Health performing complex tasks independently including calendar management high-level communications research and project coordination. Serve as a liaison with internal departments public officials boards and external stakeholders. Exercise judgment in prioritizing work solving problems and handling sensitive information.
SCHEDULE:
This full-time standard position operates on our 4-day work week Monday-Thursday (4-10 hour days) and can expect to work a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week in office depending on business needs.
COMPENSATION:
Hiring Range: $78000.00 $89000.00 USD Annual
Compensation will be determined based on education experience and skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Manage complex andfrequentlychanging executive priorities and prioritize competing requestsanticipatescheduling conflicts and adjust plans correspondence and respond on behalf of the executive.
- Coordinate high-level meetings including agenda development packet preparation andaccuraterecording of minutes.
- Research compile and analyze information from multiple sources to prepare reports briefings and recommendations for executive decision-making.
- Draft edit andfinalizecomplex correspondence policies presentations and official communications including social media outreach ensuring clarity tone and alignment with organizational priorities.
- Act as a central liaison between the executives office and other county departments elected officials partner agencies and the public. Facilitate communication and resolve issues. Develop andmaintainrelationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage andmonitorkey projects initiatives and track progressidentifypotential delays and provide regular status updates and reminders.
- Handle sensitive confidential and politically sensitive information with discretion; exercise sound judgment in managing access and dissemination. Maintain confidentiality across all communication tools.
- Develop and implement solutions to enhance effectiveness and efficiency within the Executive Directors office.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws regulations public records requirements and organizational audits and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate travel conferences and official events including detailed itinerarieslogistics protocol considerations and cost tracking for Executive Director.
- Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Five (5) years of work-related experience
- Certifications/Licenses: N/A
- Note an equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Preferred experience in administrative support role within an executive office
- Experience with Microsoft Office Software
- Experience with Workday
- Experience with Canva or other design software/programs
ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION:
- Criminal History and MVR Background Checks are required for every position.
