Special Education Teacher (Grades 45) Illinois School Year

About the Position

This full-time assignment focuses on delivering engaging standards-aligned instruction in an inclusive elementary school environment. Responsibilities include maintaining IEP compliance assessing student performance documenting progress participating in multidisciplinary meetings and contributing to a collaborative educational team committed to student achievement and continuous growth.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a closely related field and possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) endorsement. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong instructional planning classroom management communication and collaboration skills. Prior experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting is preferred.
