EW Software Engineer Modeling & Simulation

Peraton Labs is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Developer for a position based in Aberdeen Proving Ground MD. This position will require the candidate to:

• Conduct M&S development runs and analysis in multi-agent M&S environments.
• Develop software in various languages and platforms.
• Communicate technical information via various forms: presentation papers meetings.
• Process large amounts of data into readable results for stakeholders
• Translate EW algorithms from theory into an M&S framework for test and evaluation
• Utilize principles of EW as considerations for algorithm development and optimization
• Debug algorithms and source code in a complex M&S environment

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
• Degree in Engineering Physics or related field
• US Citizenship
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Experience with AFSIM or similar tools: modifying source code creating plug-ins and set-up scenarios
• Experience using Python and/or MATLAB languages and interfacing these languages in an M&S environment

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of RF systems and concepts
• Knowledge of RF threat systems and Army conops
• Knowledge of Electronic Warfare
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning principles and techniques
