The Event Venue Specialist is the primary client liaison and team leader for assigned programs and events in a specific venue onsite at the clients campus. Manages the overall coordination and execution of an entire program/event from an operational perspective. Responsible for coordination of all program planning and implementations while providing unparalleled levels of customer service.What Youll Be Doing
Serve as the primary point-of-contact for event hosts and internal service teams.
Plan and design events in assigned venue space including timelines deliverables and communication plans.
Lead pre-con meetings and site inspections; ensure supplier service delivery.
Oversee onsite event execution acting as team lead and ensuring quality assurance across all service areas.
Manage VIP logistics and special projects ensuring privacy and security protocols are followed.
Conduct venue audits and submit maintenance requests to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
Maintain venue SOPs manage venue calendar and accurately track event data.
What Youll Bring
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
5 years in meeting/event planning (including incentives association corporation) hotel catering or convention sales.
Proven success in communicating and interacting effectively with executive-level stakeholders demonstrating professionalism discretion and confidence in high-visibility environments.
Strong knowledge of program/event management and budget maintenance. Experience project planning. Proven ability to work independently and proactively. Prior experience in effectively handling multiple projects/demands and client escalations.
Prior successful experience in developing and maintaining key client relationships.
Excellent oral and written communication skills across all organizational levels (individual contributors suppliers and executive clients.)
Proficiency in G-suite tools and ability to quickly learn new technology.
Nice To Have
Experience managing high-profile or incentive events.
Familiarity with venue operations and emergency response planning.
Prior work with third-party suppliers and cross-functional teams.
Working Logistics & Things You Should Know
The total compensation range for this position is $90000 $110000.00 determined based on location experience and qualifications. Compensation for internal candidates will be reviewed in accordance with our internal compensation practices.
