Evening Meteorologist

Duties:

• Produce and present engaging accurate weather and occasional news reports across all platforms.
• Write and deliver weather stories in a clear conversational and approachable style not over-the-top but full of warmth and authenticity.
• Ensure all weather and news content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality.
• Collaborate with producers anchors and newsroom staff to create compelling and informative evening coverage.
• Bring energy and creativity to storytelling whether its sunshine or snow you make viewers care about whats happening outside.

Requirements and Skills:

• A degree in meteorology atmospheric science or related field.
• Proven on-air experience delivering weathercasts that connect and engage.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills you make the science relatable.
• A positive team-first attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
• Familiarity with the latest forecasting tools and digital weather platforms.
• Strong understanding of the field of Meteorology and a proven track record of forecasting.
• Valid drivers license with a good driving record.

COMPENSATION RANGE:
Annual Salary: $75000 commensurate with experience
