Assignment:

  • Temporary Position;
    • June 22 2026 July 22 2026
    • 2 days per week: 6/22 6/24 6/29 7/1 7/6 7/8 7/13 7/15 7/20 7/22
    • 1 hour per day: 12:30 to 1:30 pm

Job Description:

Work 1:1 with a high needs autism student to deliver Social Emotional/Behavior Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) per the students IEP.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State teaching certification with a Special Education endorsement
  • Washington State Patrol background and FBI fingerprint clearance (fee paid by employee)
  • Student teaching or contracted teaching experience in a secondary setting
  • Knowledge and ability to use a variety of techniques and equipment to teach students with differing learning styles
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of this position
  • The safety and health of students and others are essential functions of this position

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with high needs autism
  • Familiar with TEACCH strategies
