ESY Program Instructional Assistants for Summer 2026

The Pennsbury School District is looking for certified and support staff to fill Instructional Assistant positions in the Extended School Year (ESY) Program for the summer of 2026. Final staffing will be made based upon student enrollment. Seniority will be the determining factor in who is offered positions if interest outweighs the number of positions available.

ESY PROGRAM SCHEDULE

ESY Dates are 6/29/2026 - 7/30/2026 (Monday to Thursday)

• Training Day: June 29 (9:00 AM-1:15-4.25 hours)
• 19 Instructional Days (4.25 hours per day other than the training day)
• Group 1: 8:45 AM 1:00 PM
• Group 2: 9:00 AM 1:15 PM

Location: William Penn Middle School

These scheduling adjustments are intended to support student needs while ensuring appropriate staffing coverage throughout the ESY day.

RATES:

• Classified Position: Based on your current step placement on the salary scale if the role is in your current job class.
