- Inspecting vehicles and preparing accurate complete repair plans
- Researching and documenting OEM repair procedures
- Identifying structural mechanical safety and calibration requirements
- Coordinating vehicle disassembly and blueprinting
- Writing and negotiating supplements with insurance carriers
- Documenting all required labor operations parts materials and sublet services
- Communicating clearly with customers technicians insurers and vendors
- Monitoring repairs to help maintain quality and production flow
- Previous collision estimating or repair-planning experience
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle construction and repair procedures
- Experience with CCC ONE or comparable estimating software
- Familiarity with OEM repair information and documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe proper repairs
- I-CAR training or OEM certification experience is preferred
