Why this role
This isnt a typical paralegal position. At BPE senior paralegals draft sophisticated trust and estate planning documents own their case files and work shoulder-to-shoulder with attorneys on complex matters. We pay well above market because we hire paralegals who can operate like one and we give them the autonomy to do it.
What youll do
Draft trusts wills and advanced estate planning documents for attorney review. Manage your own case files deadlines and docketing from intake through execution. Communicate directly with clients to gather information and keep them informed. Handle e-filing notarization scheduling and the administrative work that keeps matters moving. Participate in weekly case management meetings and collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff.
What were looking for
You bring 5 years of Florida estate planning experience and a track record of drafting trusts independently not just assembling forms. Youre highly organized communicate clearly and manage your time without needing to be chased. Youre proficient with Wealth Counsel and/or Westlaw Form Builder and comfortable in Clio Manage or similar case management platforms.
Strongly preferred: Paralegal certification or advanced education and bilingual (English/Spanish) ability.
