Aspen Careers is partnering with a respected and expanding estate planning and elder law firm to identify an Associate Attorney for the Charleston West Virginia market. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney who wants to develop a client-centered practice while joining a growing organization with an established presence in Ohio and continued expansion throughout West Virginia.

For the right candidate the firm may offer relocation assistance along with the opportunity to work remotely on Fridays when no client meetings are scheduled.

Job Title: Associate Attorney

Location: Charleston WV Primarily in-person with potential remote flexibility on Fridays when no client meetings are scheduled.

Initial training may take place in the firms St. Clairsville Dublin and/or Lancaster Ohio offices.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Licensed to practice law in West Virginia.
• Ohio licensure is a plus but is not required.
• Has approximately 15 years of attorney experience.
• Estate Planning experience is preferred although attorneys coming from Family Law Personal Injury Probate Criminal Defense or similarly client-focused practice areas are encouraged to apply.
• Comfortable leading client consultations and helping individuals understand their legal options.
• Enjoys relationship building and providing clients with clear compassionate guidance.
• Confident discussing legal services and helping prospective clients move forward with representation.
• Strong communicator with excellent organizational and client-service skills.
• Interested in learning and developing expertise within estate planning and elder law.
