E&S Claim Adjuster

We are currently seeking an E&S Claim Adjusterto investigate and adjust assigned Excess and Surplus Lines claims that require expertise in areas such as coverage analysis jurisdictional and diversity issues litigation management and expense exposures.

What you will do:

• Investigate assigned E&S lines claims including initial investigation coverage evaluation settlement negotiation and reserve setting within authority limits and company best practices. â
• Develop litigation/file disposition strategies and direct defense counsel on litigated files. â
• Provide comprehensive and timely reporting on claim status to claims management policyholders and independent agents. â
• Recognize exposures apply reserving philosophy and escalate to management when necessary. â
• Conduct field work such as meetings inspections damage assessments and evidence documentation. â
• Attend mediations and manage claims effectively to closure coordinating with independent adjusters and vendors. â

Approximately 20% travel for mediations and trials may be required. â

This role is hybrid at our Sarasota FL office or one of our regional/field locations (Lawrenceville GA; Lake Mary FL; Carmel IN; Richmond VA and Richardson TX) or can be remote within FCCI territory.

The salary range for this position is $91389-$140737 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicants education experience knowledge skills and abilities.
