Equipment & Tool Engineer Asset Engineering (Associate, Mid-level, or Senior)

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring for Equipment & Tool Engineers Asset Engineering (Associate Mid-level or Senior) to join the Equipment & Tool Engineering organization in North Charleston SC.

The selected candidates will join one of our specialized teams here at Boeing South Carolina. Additionally these individuals will align with specific areas within our 787 Equipment & Tool Engineering or Equipment and Reliability Engineering teams including Asset Engineering Integration and Systems Software and Controls Stress and Structural or Electrical Systems.

Our team is currently hiring for a range of experience levels including Associate Mid-Level or Senior Equipment & Tool Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

• Supports the evaluation of program and project requirements develops moderately complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.

• Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates for equipment and tooling. Ensures compliance with safety producibility maintainability reliability ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.

• Validates contractual performance milestones maintains configuration control conducts reviews prepares plans for productions readiness preventative maintenance and spares.

• Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel.

• Develops and implements moderately complex work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware software and documentation.

• Supports studies for disposition of assets.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.

• 2 or more years of experience working in a production and/or manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Level 3: 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Level 4: 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• ABET accredited degree Washington Accord
