Location: Cinnaminson NJ

Compensation:$25-28/hr

Employment type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule : Monday through Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM

Our client in Cinnaminson NJ is seeking a Equipment Technician to join their team. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity offering $25-$28/hr an hour. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday 7:30AM-4PM

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment
• Identify root causes of equipment breakdowns and restore functionality in a timely manner
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and facility systems
• Disassemble repair and reassemble equipment as needed
• Maintain accurate logs maintenance records and documentation
• Process and manage spare parts inventory and equipment wear items
• Perform emergency repairs outside of normal hours when required
• Assist with basic fabrication and equipment modifications
• Maintain a clean safe work environment and follow all safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience with industrial maintenance in a manufacturing facility
• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiar with Komax or Schleuniger machines or other wire harness cutting and crimping machines.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical components
• Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLC) preferred
• Ability to read schematics and equipment drawings
• Comfortable using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
