Equipment Prep & Paint Technician

Are you detail-oriented and ready to build a career with hands-on experience in equipment painting and finishing At Leppo Rents were looking for individuals who take pride in quality work want to grow their skills and enjoy working with heavy machinery.

Operating Hours: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday

What Youll Do

• Prepare heavy machinery and equipment surfaces through sanding grinding and chemical cleaning
• Mask and protect equipment areas before painting
• Mix and apply primers paints and coatings using spray guns brushes or rollers
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality and perform touch-ups as needed
• Operate and maintain painting and safety equipment including spray booths and sand blasting booths
• Follow safety protocols and properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials

What Youll Bring

• A high school diploma or GED (technical or trade school training preferred)
• At least 2 years of experience with surface prep and painting on large vehicles or machinery
• Strong knowledge of paint types surface prep and application methods
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals and safety data sheets
• A safety-focused mindset and ability to work thoroughly and independently
