Your Opportunity:
Venture Solutions a Taylor company is looking for a 3rd Shift Equipment Operator to join our production team in Ft. Worth TX. In this hands-on role you will help produce high-quality printed materials by preparing operating and maintaining printing press equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined detail-oriented and ready to build skills in a fast-paced production environment.
Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Responsibilities:
- Review job orders to determine quantities to be printed paper specifications colors and special printing instructions for customers
- Running Canon Xerox and Color Stream 3900
- Collect and inspect random samples during print runs to identify any adjustments needed
- Able to identify and complete orders of all sizes and levels of importance
- Multitask to run many machines at one time
- Complete all paperwork necessary to follow along with the job
- Ensures that the supplies are stocked; gather correct materials needed
- Learning about digital printing equipment and basic troubleshooting
- Follow quality and training expectations as stated under ISO 9001 Certification
- Load and unload paper stock and set up print files
- Meet standard throughput speed and quality which will be monitored
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures complying with legal regulations
Your Shift: 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm - 6:00am
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on production schedule
You Must Have:
- Ability to set adjustable mechanisms to required tolerances.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong mechanical ability.
- Good reading ability.
Requirements Within This Position:
- 3 years of digital print experience
- 3 years running cutsheet toner and inkjet printers
- Basic computer skills (open close print a file)
- Team player and self-motivated mindset
- Highly detail-oriented- quality focus driven
- Basic measuring skills- able to read a ruler and other measurement devices
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Ability to read write and communicate clearly to ensure accuracy and understanding of job ticket
- Ability to occasionally lift to 40 lbs. to 50 lbs. and to stand for an entire shift (excluding breaks)
We Would Also Prefer:
- Ability to work with very close tolerances
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members
- High degree of analytical skills
- Good color discernment
