Pronto Staffing is seeking a skilled mechanic to maintain and repair specialized ground support vehicles and equipment.

Job Summary

Pronto Staffing is hiring an Equipment Mechanic for a local this role you will inspect test and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic systems on towing vehicles and ground support units. You will also track inventory keep maintenance records and handle daily repair tasks to ensure all equipment runs safely and smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance testing and repairs on vehicles and support equipment

• Service equipment systems with fuel oil coolant hydraulic fluid and air

• Find and fix mechanical and electronic problems using test tools and technical guides

• Take apart repair clean and put back together equipment parts

• Keep accurate vehicle records track inventory and count incoming parts

• Safely store and dispose of hazardous materials

• Help plan maintenance work and assist with training local facility staff

Requirements

• Experience maintaining ground support equipment or aircraft service vehicles is preferred

• Ability to use hand tools multimeters and voltmeters for troubleshooting

• Ability to read drawings wiring diagrams and schematics

• Basic math skills including algebra and geometry to calculate measurements

• Valid drivers license

• High school diploma or GED

• Must be able to speak read and write in English

• Background check and drug screening may be required

Work Environment

• Regularly required to stand walk reach stoop kneel crouch and climb

• Must be able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift over 100 pounds

• Frequent work outdoors in changing weather conditions

• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts high places fumes and loud noise levels

• Requires the use of standard computer systems email and tracking software
