Equipment Installer II

POSITION SUMMARY

An Equipment Installer I is responsible for quality installation of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments as specified in engineering instructions and drawings and in accordance with customer standards. This is a field-based position requiring regional and occasional national travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install equipment in Data Center/Construction environments
• On-site analysis of job drawings specifications and MOPs
• Ensure quality installations by conforming to all applicable standards
• Perform all work with safety as the top priority. This includes following all company and customer mandated procedures as well as utilizing the proper PPE for the task at hand
• Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service
• Use computer for Data Entry/Administrative tasks
• Ability to pass background drug and motor vehicle screening

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal written and customer-facing skills
• Basic computer skills to include MS Office or equivalent
• Basic knowledge and skills with hand tools

STANDARD TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• OSHA10 required OSHA30 preferred
• Fall protection preferred

• Manlift/Forklift certification preferred

• Medium Lifting (30 Ibs. 45 Ibs.)
• Heavy Lifting (over 50 Ibs.)
• Frequent Standing
• Frequent kneeling / crawling / stooping

The anticipated salary range for this role in the Illinois locality is between $55000 to $65000 per year based on a 40-hour work weeksalary ranges for other geographic localities may roles are eligible for additional rewards including merit increases annual bonus and stock.
