Equipment Installer II Abilene, TX

POSITION SUMMARY

An Equipment Installer II is responsible for leading quality installations of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments as specified in engineering instructions and drawings and in accordance with customer standards. This is a field-based position requiring regional and occasional national travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install equipment in Data Center/Construction environments
• On-site analysis of job drawings specifications and MOPs
• Ensure quality installations by conforming to all applicable standards
• Perform all work with safety as the top priority. This includes following all company and customer mandated procedures as well as utilizing the proper PPE for the task at hand
• Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service
• Use computer for Data Entry/Administrative tasks
• Ability to lead team of Installers in all above tasks
• Participating in project meetings
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Ability to generate daily job logs/reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of equipment installation experience in Data Center/Construction environments or equivalent technical training
• Strong verbal written and customer-facing skills
• Basic computer skills to include MS Office or equivalent
• Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore
• Advanced knowledge and skills with power/hand tools
• Ability to adjust to fluctuating work schedules
• Ability to pass background drug and motor vehicle screening

STANDARD TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• OSHA10 required OSHA30 preferred
• Fall protection preferred

• Manlift/Forklift certification preferred
