Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installation TechnicianJob Type: Direct HirePay: $25-$32/hour (Dependent on Experience)Job Summary Commercial Kitchen Equipment Installation Technician role will primarily be responsible for installing assembling connecting testing and commissioning commercial conveyor dishwashing systems such as the American Dish ADC-44 conveyor ware washing machine including electrical plumbing and mechanical commercial ware washing conveyor dishwashing and kitchen equipment at customer and interpret equipment specifications blueprints shop drawings installation manuals and wiring and position equipment according to manufacturer and verify electrical power grounding plumbing drainage and utility and align conveyor systems tables racks pumps motors and related correct operation of wash pumps rinse systems heaters conveyors and safety startup commissioning and operational testing of installed installation issues and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper completed installations for quality safety and code customer personnel in equipment operation and basic maintenance installation reports service documentation and punch lists with contractors facility managers and customer representatives during tools equipment and company vehicles in safe working OSHA electrical plumbing and workplace safety requirements at all limited warranty and service support as additional duties as assigned based on workload and department needsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.2 years of experience installing commercial kitchen food service ware washing mechanical plumbing HVAC or similar to read technical drawings installation manuals and electrical knowledge of: Electrical systems (single-phase and three-phase power)Plumbing and water supply connectionsDrainage systemsMechanical assembly and equipment alignmentExperience using hand tools power tools and testing to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical drivers license and acceptable driving QualificationsExperience with commercial dishwashers conveyor systems or foodservice plumbing HVAC or mechanical trade 10 or OSHA 30 working in restaurants healthcare facilities schools hospitality or institutional RequirementsFrequently lift and move equipment and materials up to 75 to push pull bend kneel climb and work in confined to stand and walk for extended using ladders and working around electrical and plumbing to travel and work extended hours when required by project Skills and AbilitiesStrong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving to work independently and as part of a customer service and communication to detail and commitment to quality management and organizational EnvironmentCustomer facilities including restaurants schools hospitals correctional facilities hotels institutional kitchens and commercial job to construction environments water electrical systems cleaning chemicals and mechanical local travel ExpectationsComplete installations on schedule and within quality a high level of customer all installations meet manufacturer specifications and safety document work completed and report issues compliance with company customer and regulatory safety standards.
