Engineeris responsible forthe selection qualification maintenance and optimization of manufacturing and laboratory equipment used in the production of oligonucleotide products. This role ensures equipment reliability process performance and operational readiness while supporting technology transfer manufacturing scale-up and continuous improvement initiatives.

This position is part of the Operations grouplocatedin Sunnyvale CA and will be an on-site role.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead the installation qualification validation maintenance and continuous improvement of manufacturing and laboratory equipment to ensure safe reliable and efficient operations.

• Develop implement andmaintainequipment procedures preventive maintenance programs calibration schedules and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support equipment reliability and regulatory compliance.

• Coordinate FSE activities.

• Troubleshoot equipment performance issuesidentifyroot causes and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve equipment effectiveness.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using DBS tools to improve equipment uptime process capability throughput reliability and operational efficiency.

• Other duties as assigned.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering Electrical Engineering Biomedical Engineering Life Sciences or related discipline.

• Proficient in supporting manufacturing laboratory or process equipment within a production environment.

• Experience with equipment qualification validation maintenance troubleshooting and lifecycle management.(Sustainment)

• Experience authoring andmaintainingStandard Operating Procedures (SOPs) maintenance procedures and equipment documentation in a manufacturing environment.

• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) calibration programs and equipment asset management.

Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to work in a laboratory/manufacturing environment including standing for extended periods

• Ability to lift move or carry equipment up to50lb

It would be a plus if you alsopossess:

• Experience with nucleic acid manufacturing oligonucleotide synthesis equipment sequencing workflows or similar life science production technologies.

• Knowledge of regulated manufacturing environments (e.g. GMP ISO 13485 FDA-regulated or similar quality systems).

• Experience with PLC-controlled systems automation platforms robotic liquid handling systems or process control systems.

The annual salary range for this role is $120000-$135000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
