FII USA Inc. a Foxconn Technology Group Company is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join our growing this role you will support a wide variety of technical and operational tasks within the Production Department in a manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to apply critical thinking skills support advanced manufacturing processes and grow your career in Smart Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime
- Assist internal and external users with equipment training tool usage and safe operation
- Train staff on safety procedures and cleanroom protocols
- Develop write and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Train users on microfabrication and characterization equipment
- Perform equipment installation maintenance and repair
- Provide safety oversight and operational support
- Support microfabrication activities for funded projects
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Experience with solid modeling AutoCAD and engineering materials/properties
- 3 years of experience in an SMT manufacturing environment preferred
- 3 years of experience in an electronic assembly environment preferred
- Working knowledge of ECR/ECN engineering processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization
