SUMMARY

Under basic supervision manages and maintains inventory of sports equipment.

Essential duties and responsibilitiesmayinclude but are not limited to the following:

  • Manages and maintains inventory of sports equipment and supplies for sports teams and physical education classes; distributes collects launders and stores team uniforms.
  • Packs uniforms and equipment for team games away from MPS facilities.
  • Supports the relationship between the Minot Public School District and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with clients visitors and District staff; maintains absolute confidentiality of work-related issues client records and District information; follows compliance rules governing child abuse; performs related duties as required or assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education Training and Experience Guidelines

High School Diploma or GED equivalent; AND one year of experience working with sports programs; OR an equivalent combination of education training and experience.

Knowledge of:

  • MPS policies and procedures.
  • Principles of record keeping and inventory management.

Skill in:

  • Dealing tactfully and courteously with students using patience understanding and caring.Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with co-workers.Communicating effectively verbally and in writing.

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

A valid North Dakota State Drivers License may be required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Work is performed in a standard school locker room environment.
