Job Summary
About the role
You will own Epicor Kinetic implementations for our manufacturing and distribution clients end to end. You will run the plan keep the budget honest manage the risks keep everyone informed and land the go-live. You will lean on Epicors Signature Methodology to keep every project structured and predictable. And because you will be close to our clients every day you will also be one of the people who helps Quantum find and shape new work.
What you will do
- Lead large-scale Epicor Kinetic ERP implementations from kickoff through go-live and cutover for manufacturing and distribution clients.
- Run projects using Epicors Signature Methodology (Prepare Plan Design Validate Deploy) including milestone sign-offs.
- Build and manage project plans schedules and budgets.
- Manage resources across the Quantum team and client stakeholders.
- Own risk and issue management scope and change control and clear status reporting.
- Keep stakeholders aligned from the shop floor to the executive sponsor.
- Plan and lead go-live and cutover including rehearsals data validation and hypercare.
- Help identify and source new project opportunities from your client relationships working with our leadership to shape proposals and scope.
Requirements
What we are looking for (required qualifications)
- Several years managing Epicor or comparable ERP implementations end to end ideally for manufacturers or distributors.
- Hands-on experience with Epicors Signature Methodology.
- Strong command of core project management: planning budgeting resource management risk management stakeholder communication status reporting and scope/change management.
- Proven go-live and cutover management.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead a room of client stakeholders.
- A genuine interest in the business-development side of consulting and a willingness to help grow Quantums book of work.
Nice to have (preferred qualifications)
- Experience specifically with Epicor Kinetic.
- Familiarity with the Kinetic technical ecosystem: BPMs BAQs REST API integrations and SSRS/Crystal Reports.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification.
- Epicor certifications (Signature Methodology Kinetic Tools Management).
- Prior account management business development or strategic account experience alongside delivery.
Required Skills:
What You Bring A strong writer with excellent written English attention to detail and a natural sense of structure and clarity. Curiosity about technology and business systems and the drive to understand how things work. Good interviewing and listening skills with comfort asking questions of consultants developers and customers. The ability to take something complex and explain it simply for different audiences. A self-directed organized approach with the ability to juggle several projects at once. A bachelors degree or equivalent experience in English communications technical writing business information systems or a related field. Comfort with tools like Word Excel Google Docs Confluence SharePoint Snagit or Camtasia. Nice to Have Any exposure to ERP platforms like Epicor Kinetic NetSuite or Zoho. Familiarity with manufacturing or distribution business processes. Internship or project experience in technical writing documentation or content creation.
