EPC Partnering Manager (Americas)

Job Summary
In this role; Youll be the bridge between our GE Vernova functions and EPC ecosystem to identify validate and integrate reliable EPC partners & de-risk project execution.
You will ensure our Business continues to deliver with excellence across safety quality and cost by Building reliable pool of EPCs who truly understand the complexities of power plant delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with GE Vernova commercial project execution and other teams to forecast near-term and long-term project HDNU volume in the Americas Pole with more focus on the US.
- Maintain update and continuously calibrate the annual U.S. EPC capacity model to align with recent market conditions.
- Engage with established EPCs as well as EPCs targeting U.S. market to assess execution readiness including current and future capacity constraints resource availability and execution capabilities.
- Identify and implement strategies to help EPC partners overcome capacity limitations and improve project delivery readiness.
- Develop and execute a structured plan to expand and strengthen GE Vernovas network of qualified and reliable ready to execute EPC partners.
- Partner with Sales and Project Management teams to track EPC assignments across the project portfolio from ITO to OTR.
- Support customers in identifying and securing suitable EPCs for project opportunities and execution needs.
- Collect data & provide leadership with insights on EPC market capacity risks trends and recommendations to support strategic planning and growth objectives.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- 5 years of professional experience in driving complex projects and programs or operational management within the Heavy Duty Power Industry.
Desired Characteristics
- Operational Leadership:Proven experience in the power generation: Heavy Duty Combined Cycle plants is highly preferred.
- Industry Expertise:Deep understanding of EPC priorities specifically within theHeavy-Duty New Units Combined Cyclesector.
- Contractual Acumen:Experience with various EPC contract structures and ability to understand complex Partnerships.
- Technical Knowledge: familiarity with Heavy Duty project execution integration and associated technical/commercial risks.
- Influence & Negotiation:Strong communication skills with the ability to drive results and manage diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
- Financial Insight:Strong financial acumen and experience with should-cost modeling.
- Mobility:Willingness to travel up to 30% regionally ( NAM/LATAM )
