Facility Overview

  • High-acuity fast-paced cardiac care setting
Shift & Schedule
  • Shift: Days
  • Hours: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
  • On-Call: None
  • Weekends: None required
Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) / Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in a leading acute care hospital. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a specialized cardiac environment with a consistent schedule and no on-call requirements. First-time travel technologists with strong EP experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scrub circulate and monitor cardiac electrophysiology procedures including:
    • Diagnostic mapping
    • Pacemaker and ICD implants
    • Cardiac ablations
  • Maintain a focused 1:1 patient-to-tech ratio in the EP lab.
  • Assist physicians by operating:
    • 3D mapping systems
    • Recording systems
    • Fluoroscopy imaging equipment
  • Document procedures and patient information using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Track inventory and maintain accurate clinical logs.
  • Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary team members in a teaching hospital setting.
  • Remain within the assigned specialty area with no floating requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Radiologic Technologist certification (ARRT or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in Electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
  • Proficiency with fluoroscopy and cardiac imaging systems.
  • Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred).
  • Ability to work in a high-acuity fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior travel experience (not required).
  • Experience working in a teaching hospital or large healthcare system.
  • Familiarity with advanced cardiac mapping technologies.
