The Opportunity:

At Berry Street Yooralla we invite you to embark on a journey where you can truly make a positive impact and help create safe inclusive and engaging environments for children aged 5-18 with disasbility. Join our High Intensity OSHC Team working in a specialist school setting and become an integral part of our mission to support school-aged children and young people with disabilities in choosing the lives they want to live.

Your Impact:

In this role you will work collaboratively with fellow Educators OSHC Coordinators children and parents to foster positive relationships in the community and create meaningful and engaging experiences to support childrens learning engagement and wellbeing.

As an OSHC Educator youll work under the guidance of the OSHC Coordinator to:

• Deliver programs aligned with My Time Our Place Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework.
• Support children and young people with disability to participate in activities safely and confidently.
• Prepare activities food and safe spaces for sessions.
• Promote diversity and inclusion in a welcoming fun environment.
• Build strong relationships with families and the school community.
• Ensure compliance with child safety health and wellbeing standards.

Work Hours Available:
Monday to Friday
After School Care: 3.00pm - 6:00pm
Vacation Care: 9.00am-6:00pm

About you:

Were looking for people who are passionate have a great attitude and an eagerness to learn. To be successful in this role youll share Yoorallasvaluesand have:

• willingness to be committed to empowering children/young people to reach their goals and to upholding quality and safeguards in your everyday work
• effective communication and organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team
• willingness to complete a Fit2Work National Police Check
• Qualifications or be actively working towards a certification in alignment with the Victorian ACECQA National Quality Framework
• HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (with CPR Anaphylaxis and Asthma training)
• GECCKO Foundations of Child Safety Training
• Protecting Children Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations Early Childhood Training
• Working With Children Check Employee Type Card
