Job Summary

This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. You will be responsible for developing implementing and monitoring environmental strategies policies and programs that promote sustainable development while ensuring full regulatory Structure:Monday through Friday:Governments regular working hours (on-site)May require flexible availability based on project work schedulesKey Responsibilities:Serve as theprimary environmental and energy authorityfor the contract ensuring all Contractor operations adhere to the goals and policies of theEnvironmental Management System (EMS)Installation Energy Plan and all specified sustainability requirementsDevelop implement and monitorenvironmental strategies policies and programs that promote sustainable development across all contract activitiesExamine contract activitiesto identify areas where environmental and energy improvements can be made and implement corrective actions accordinglyEnsurecompliance with all applicable environmental legislation federal energy laws and energy policy including energy and water reduction requirements and renewable energy requirementsMonitor and report onenvironmental and energy performance metrics providing regular updates and recommendations to project leadership and government stakeholdersSupport the development and maintenance of theEnvironmental Management System (EMS)in accordance with contract requirements and applicable federal standardsIdentify and addressenvironmental risks and compliance gaps developing and implementing mitigation strategies as neededCoordinate with theProject Manager government stakeholders and subcontractor teamsto integrate environmental and energy requirements into all aspects of project planning and executionMaintain accurate and up-to-dateenvironmental and energy records reports and documentationas required by contract and regulatory obligationsKnowledge Skills & Abilities:Minimum of 2 yearsof experience with environmental procedures similar to those of this contractDemonstratedfamiliarity with Environmental Management Systems (EMSs)Knowledge ofenvironmental regulations and federal energy laws and policy including:Energy and water reduction requirementsRenewable energy requirementsApplicable regulations for operations similar to those of this contractPrimary duty and responsibility dedicated toenvironmental and energy managementfor this contractOur Equal Employment Opportunity PolicyThe company is an equal opportunity employer.
