• Sanitize and disinfect specific areas such as patient rooms nurses stations waiting areas meeting rooms offices corridors and common areas
• Contribute to hospital efficiency and integrity by maintaining quality cleanliness in accordance with hospital and CDC guidelines
• Understand and utilize all safety guidelines and procedures when using cleaning chemicals and disposing of hazardous materials
• Inventory and ensure proper storage of hazardous materials for ignitability (flammable) corrosivity (rust) reactivity (explosive) toxicity (poison) etc.
• Appropriately display signs to prevent injuries of patients employees and visitors such as slips and/or falls

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or commercial cleaning in high traffic facilities such as hospitals clinics hotels casinos convention centers schools and the like
