Environmental Services & Facilities Technician (FT, Back End Days)

What Youll Do:

This position performs highly skilledhousekeepingmaintenanceandhandymantasks to care for andmaintainthefacility and grounds. The Environmental Services & Facilities Technicianuses their knowledge ofhousekeeping processespower and manual cleaning tools needed to perform tasks in categories such asgeneral janitorial cleaning bio-hazard cleanups and minor facilities repairs to ensure the buildings are in pristine condition.

• Facility Maintenance & Operations
  • Perform routine rotational maintenance to ensure equipment and facility operations run smoothly
  • Troubleshoot any cleaning equipment issues including electrical mechanical and process issues independently; identifyingand resolving rootcauses
  • Provide occasional assistance in facility maintenance tasks as needed
• Work Order & Vendor Coordination
  • Respond to repair and maintenance tickets submittedby internal departmentsin a timely manner
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for outsourced repairs ensuring timelyfollow-up and resolution
  • Oversee floor care vendor performance
• Inventory & Supply Management
  • Order housekeeping and EVS supplies monitor inventory levels and report on supply status
  • Receive organize and distribute supplies throughout the facility
• Compliance & Environment of Care
  • Report Environment of Care concerns through the ticketing system to support Safety Committee documentation and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to facility standards related to safety maintenance and operational readiness
• Facility Cleanliness & Upkeep
  • Maintain overall facility cleanliness including floor care general cleaning restroom upkeep and window cleaning
  • Restock supplies and perform additional cleaning duties as needed to support a safe and functional environment

What Youll Bring:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years experience in housekeeping/janitorial cleaning
• Working knowledge of: Cleaning best practices and floor care
• The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy. All successful applicants must be fully vaccinated including showing proper documentation or otherwise be exempt pursuant to the Companys exemption process prior to their start date as a condition of employment

It would be great if you had:

• Previous healthcare facility experience
• 1 year of experience performing tasks requiring mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of the methods practices materials and tools used in the maintenance
• Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions involved in the use of mechanical equipment and chemicals
