Job Title: Environmental Service Technician
Location: Elmhurst IL
Type: Contract 14 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift 8-Hour Shifts 40 Hours/Week 5 Days/Week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Environmental Service Technician for an exciting Travel or Local job in Elmhurst IL.

Responsibilities

• Clean disinfect and sanitize carts delivery vehicles and equipment according to established standards
• Maintain clean and organized work areas surfaces and common spaces
• Manage and replenish sterile processing department materials dry goods paper products and facility supplies
• Monitor inventory levels and restock essential materials as needed
• Perform daily housekeeping and facility support duties
• Maintain cleanliness of floors workstations storage areas and shared spaces
• Follow safety sanitation and infection prevention protocols
• Support operational staff by ensuring supplies and materials are readily available
• Identify opportunities for workplace organization and process improvements
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support departmental goals

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of work experience required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Reliable work ethic and commitment to quality performance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing walking lifting and moving supplies throughout the workday
• Positive attitude and willingness to support operational needs

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous healthcare environment experience preferred
• Environmental Services Housekeeping Facilities Warehouse or Inventory Management experience preferred
• Experience working in regulated or quality-focused environments preferred
