Where Youll Make a Difference

  • Support and promote a strong site-wide safety culture focused on employee wellbeing and safe work practices
  • Lead and support incident investigations identifying root causes and implementing preventive actions
  • Conduct industrial hygiene (IH) monitoring and sampling to support occupational health programs
  • Partner with operations to ensure compliance with safety health and environmental regulations
  • Participate in EHS design reviews including ergonomics ventilation PPE and emergency preparedness
  • Deliver EHS training including new hire orientation and annual compliance refreshers
  • Support internal and external audits to ensure adherence to IFF and regulatory standards
  • Track analyze and report EHS metrics ensuring timely and accurate monthly reporting
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety programs and employee engagement

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelors degree in Industrial Hygiene Environmental Science Safety or related field
  • 25 years of experience in EHS Industrial Hygiene or a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance requirements (OSHA environmental standards etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a team setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence across functions
  • Experience with industrial hygiene principles monitoring and exposure assessments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint) and documentation management

  • Experience in food chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with emergency response programs and safety committees
  • Experience participating in audits and regulatory inspections
