We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Safety & Security Specialist to lead implement and maintain comprehensive safety programs at our this impactful role you will champion a culture of safety ensuring compliance with environmental and security regulations while protecting our employees assets and facilities. Your expertise will directly influence our operational excellence and risk management initiatives.
- Develop and execute environmental health safety and security policies to meet regulatory standards and company objectives.
- Conduct risk assessments safety audits and incident investigations recommending corrective actions and process improvements.
- Deliver training and educational programs to promote employee awareness and compliance.
- Monitor workplace conditions and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials and waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support emergency response planning and business continuity.
- Maintain accurate records and reports for regulatory compliance and internal reviews.
- Advise management on emerging safety trends and best practices.
- Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4 years of relevant experience
- Proven knowledge of OSHA EPA and other regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrated experience conducting safety audits and risk assessments.
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Occupational Health & Safety Security Management or related field.
- Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) or CPP (Certified Protection Professional).
- Experience with ISO 45001 ISO 14001 or similar management systems.
- Background in industrial manufacturing or laboratory environments.
- Proficiency in incident management software and data analytics tools.
- Multilingual abilities and cross-cultural communication skills.
This position is primarily based on-site with occasional travel to other company locations or partner facilities (up to 10% of time). Physical requirements include the ability to conduct inspections in various facility areas sometimes requiring climbing walking or lifting up to 25 lbs. Personal protective equipment may be required during site visits.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKessons pay philosophy and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
